Ingredients

  • 500g less than 5% fat minced beef or lamb
  • 1 tbsp of turmeric
  • 1 tbsp of cumin
  • 1 tbsp of coriander
  • 1 tbsp of garam masala
  • 1 tbsp of Pataks tandoori paste
  • 3 cloves of crushed garlic or a good tbsp of garlic puree

A DONNER KERBAB IS ENJOYABLE AFTER A FEW DRINKS BUT THE FAT CONTENT IS VERY HIGH, THIS RECIPE GIVES YOU A HEALTHIER OPTION WHICH, IS TASTY, DELICIOUS AND LOW IN FAT

Cooking Steps

    Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix, you can add a teaspoon of red food colouring at this point for a vibrant colour but it is optional!

    Lightly grease a loaf tin (that fits in your air fryer) then line it with baking paper or roll your meat into a thick sausage and wrap in cling film - put in freezer for 15 mins

    If using the loaf tin just pop in air fryer for 20mins on 180 degrees, if using the sausage either skewer with a wooden skewer and put on a baking tray cook in the oven for 40mins on 200 degrees

    Slice into thin slices

    Serve in garlic flatbreads with fresh crisp salad and cucumber, onion and tomato chutney and a splash of garlic mayo and chilli sauce
