Ingredients

  • a 1/4 of a bag of shop bought frozen mashed potato - Iceland or Lidl is the cheapest!
  • 4oz of self raising flour
  • 2 oz melted butter - saving 1 oz for brushing on your potato farm
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp of dijon mustard - this is optional

These potato farls are so easy to make and so versatile, they can be served with a breakfast or topped with fresh crisp salad, crispy lean bacon, honey roast ham, poached egg and dressed in honey and mustard dressing making an ideal brunch for family or friends!

Cooking Steps

    Put your frozen mashed potato into the microwave and cook according to cooking instructions - then let it cool

    Melt your butter in the microwave
  • 3
    add all ingredients to the mashed potato (saving half of the butter) and mix this will produce a delicious dough
  • 4
    Shape into a thick pizza then put in your air fryer on air fryer mode, brush with the rest of the butter and start for 20 mins
  • 5
    after 10 mins get a plate and put over the top of your farl tip onto the plate and then put the uncooked side up back in the air fryer and brush with more of the butter air fry again for the next 10 mis

    When golden enjoy with your favourite topping!
