Ingredients

  • 4 Free Range Eggs
  • 8 Butchers good quality pork or chicken sausage
  • 1 box of stuffing mix
  • 1 egg (for coating)
  • 2 Heaped tablespoons of any flour
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to season everything
  • 1 tablespoon of italian seasoning
  • 6 tablespoons of golden breadcrumbs

Cooking Steps

    Fill a pan with cold water (big enough to fit the 4 eggs in) bring to the boil

    Once boiled add the eggs and boil for 7 minutes

    Run under freezing cold water to stop the cooking process - leave in the pan in freezing cold water or iced water
  • 4
    In 3 separate bowls put your flour in one, breadcrumbs in another and whisked egg. Season the flour with a pinch of italian seasoning, garlic powder and smoked paprika. Do the same with the breadcrumbs adding a good pinch of pepper

    Squeeze the sausage meat out of its skin into another bowl - add your stuffing, garlic, smoked paprika, italian seasoning and salt and pepper mix all together with your hands. Separate equally into 4 balls

    Get two layers of cling film put one of your balls on one of the layers then top with the other layer - squash os the sausage meat is totally flat - remove top layer of cling film

    Peel your egg from it's shell, using the cling film mould and wrap the sausage meat patty around the egg - do the same process with the other 3 boiled eggs

    Coat each egg in the flour then coat in the whisked egg, roll in the breadcrumbs and put on a plate

    Line your air fryer with baking paper or an air fryer liner placing your eggs on top - Set air fryer to 200 degrees and air fry for 10 mins turning after 5 mins
