Welcome to my website! My passion for cooking began at an early age, sparked by the need to prepare meals when my mum started working shifts. This hands-on introduction to the kitchen quickly grew into a lifelong love for food. My best friend Julia and I spent countless hours after school concocting recipes—some delightful, others less so, but all part of our culinary adventure.

Growing up, takeaways were rare, limited to the occasional fish and chips, and food deliveries were unheard of. Meals were made from scratch with ingredients sourced from local butchers, greengrocers, and shops. This foundation shaped my belief in supporting local businesses, helping our economy, and fostering sustainability over reliance on large supermarkets.

I dream of seeing vibrant local markets, traditional butchers, and fresh produce shops thrive again—places where fresh, affordable food isn’t a luxury but a norm, much like in many parts of Europe. Unfortunately, policies often overlook these essential community hubs.
